Ship agentic AI into finance workflows — from prompt to production — as one of our first engineers.
About the role
You will be one of the first engineers at Altay AI, shipping agentic workflows that automate real financial operations for CFOs and COOs.
Own the design and delivery of end-to-end agents (prompt, tools, evals, deployment).
Work directly with senior operators — no product-manager layer, no ticket triage queue.
Ship weekly to real production workflows inside client environments.
Set engineering standards for the next 10 hires.
What you'll bring
5+ years shipping software in production, at least one year with LLMs.
Deep comfort with TypeScript or Python and modern LLM tooling.
You think in P&L. You care about business outcomes, not framework debates.
Bonus: prior experience in fintech, finance operations, ERP integrations or audit.
